I have all this paperwork to do today. I'm swamped! It would be the perfect day for just looking outside my window and watching the rain fall. Actually, what I'm really in the mood to do is daydream about the date I went on just recently but there's definitely no time for that. I  haven't had this much work to do since I was in school. I called up my friend so she could help me review some information about bankruptcy laws later tonight. The movie night we had planned for this week is going to have to be rescheduled for some other time until I can get a handle on all this material. I'm going to need to have everything pertaining to bankruptcy laws memorized before I can start working with clients. She's really knowledgeable about that sort of thing. The new job starts next week and I really want to impress the management by knowing my stuff.  The supervisors I'll be working with informed me that a large percentage of the work they do revolves around a firm knowledge about bankruptcy laws so that's what I want to focus on, even though I'm not required to learn them as a new employee right now. I've been reflecting on how much I've grown over the last several years. I think I learned some hard lessons at my last place of employment. I really want to advance more quickly on this job. I have some big goals for my life that are going to require a lot of effort on my part. I finally feel like I'm on the right track!
