COLLEGE ROOMATE

My old roommate from college, Jeff, moved to New York shortly after graduation. He got a small place in Brooklyn that was really no bigger than a shoebox. He moved out there because his girlfriend had moved there and got a job, so he found some sales position so he could move there too. Despite making what should have been a sufficient living, the high costs of New York and loose spending habits had Jeff soon googling

Brooklyn bankruptcy

to see what his options might be. Apparently he had run into some credit card debt, and was having some trouble paying his rent and bills. Rather than having to file for bankruptcy, he worked out a payment plan with his parents for them to help him out with his debt. He also decided to move back to Chicago where the cost of living is lower. His girlfriend also filed for a transfer to her companies Chicago office, so Jeff was exciting about that. He was really worried what would happen to their relationship if they were going to have to do it long distance. Ultimately it all worked out. Jeff got a better job than the one he had in New York, and him and his girlfriend ended up finding a nice place together on the far north side of the city.
