I know I'm supposed to be studying Philadelphia bankruptcy laws for that big exam coming up but I'm completely distracted right now. I can't stop thinking about the e-mail I got from my crush! It was so unexpected. We've both been busy with our classes and work, so we've been keeping in touch by e-mail more frequently. Anyways, I wasn't able to check any e-mails for about five days. I wondered if he was going to write. Lately it seems like I'd been sending him some really long and thoughtful e-mails and he wouldn't respond back to them. When I checked my account there was a message from him, but it was better than I thought it was going to be. He actually wondered where I was and he even said “I miss you!” I had to reread that line several times. He's never said he missed me before! I mean, I was only gone for five days! That's kind of a big step. I feel like I'm finally making progress! I kind of smile when I think about how far we've come. When I first started writing he seemed so disinterested in the idea of anything between us happening but now it seems like there's more room to be hopeful!
